Our Cancellation Policy
It is the aim of Park Dental Care to provide quality dental care to our patients and to use clinical time effectively. To achieve this aim, we have an appointment management, deposit and cancellation policy.
If you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason, to avoid incurring fees it is important you inform us as soon as possible but no later than:
- 24 hours before the scheduled start time of a routine dental appointment.
- 48 hours before the scheduled start time of a dental hygienist appointment.
- 72 hours before the scheduled start time of their appointments for oral surgery/root canal/implant appointments.
There is a fee for private dental and hygiene appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than the required notice given.
New Private Patient Deposit
A £20.00 deposit will be taken over the phone when booking all new patient appointment.
Any deposits taken will be put towards the cost of treatment and deducted at each visit. We understand situations and circumstances change and patients may wish to cancel their appointment/s. We kindly ask patients to you provide us with the required cancellation notice.
NHS Patients (Under 18)
If more than two NHS dental appointments are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, we do not guarantee being able to complete a patients NHS treatment or offer then NHS treatment in the future.
It is our aim to always have satisfied patients, to meet your expectations of care and service and to resolve any complaints as efficiently, effectively and politely as possible. We take complaints very seriously, we investigate them in a full and fair way and take great care to protect your confidentiality. We learn from complaints to improve our care and service. We will never discriminate against patients who have made a complaint.
